Wonderful ambience, very tasty.

The Orfeos gets full marks from us. Very cozy shop, especially in the slowly approaching cold season. The dishes have something for every taste, even for low-carb lovers and vegans, there is a selection. We definitely enjoyed it very much. The service was also super nice and attentive. We can only recommend it.

Good selection movies.

Quite intimate, a small cinema room with large armchairs. Bcp of French films in v.o subtitled. Unfortunately not yet tasted in the kitchen.

Booked a table after the cinema. It worked just fine. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. Good lighting and warm colors. Had the tapas platter as an appetizer. Generously sized with 8 or 9 different small dishes and very good value for 8.50. My companion had a creamy cauliflower soup that also tasted good. Unfortunately, there was irritation with my main course, which leads to the deduction of points. Fish tartare on potato pancakes and side salad was shown on the daily menu. Since it was simply called fish tartare, I asked the waitress which fish it was. When asked by a colleague, it was called Mattjes. Well ordered then. There was a nicely arranged plate and when I tried the Mattjestatar I noticed that the fish was hidden in a large portion of cream. At second glance and taste test, I noticed that it was not Mattjes, but salmon. Well, that would have been ok, but the salmon was cooked and not raw or marinated, as you would expect from a tartare. Upon my complaint, I was offered another dish, but I didn't feel like it anymore. So 30% was deducted from the bill for the tartar. I had eaten about half. You can do that, but what bothered me the most is that they offer a dish that is simply declared wrong. If I order a beef tartar and I get fried or boiled meat instead of raw meat, that's simply a wrong statement (I'll leave the confusion with the Mattjes and salmon outside). We also had a bottle of very tasty red wine from Puglia, which was moderately priced. Too bad - would like to have given 4 stars ... Maybe next time...

Very nice restaurant, even at lunchtime you can eat great at pleasant prices. Friendly staff, on point! The quality of the dishes is valued higher than the size, but you always get full. Keep it up!

Super cute, quirky program cinema❣??? You can snack something in the bar that you can take with you to the cinema. In the attached restaurant you can eat delicious things when it is warm, also on the attached rear terrace. Very familiar and suitable for staying longer. ?

Great concept: restaurant and cinema in one. The ambience is very nice, the service friendly, if very slow. I had hoped for something more from the food, it was OK. However, it was not worth the money. In contrast, the wines were very good! The Montepulciano in particular is highly recommended. The cinema is beautiful and offers an alternative program. All in all: you can do it.

wow, here you really have everything for a perfect evening. Cinema at its finest, both in terms of equipment and program. Restaurant with an excellent price-performance ratio and after the film a sag at the cozy bar. An all-round concept and really something special!

Top location! We had our annual company Christmas party at Orfeos Erben and we were all thrilled. The atmosphere, the team, the food - everything fits. Also very professional in the preparation. If you are looking for a successful location in Frankfurt for a celebration, you have the right place here. But even without a celebration, the Orfeos is a real pearl in Frankfurt if you want to eat delicious and want to experience a special movie night.

Nice location for corporate events or for private parties with many people. The little cinema has Charm. Well stocked bar and a smoking area on the terrace so you do not have to get out on the street!

Restaurant visited for lunch: small lunch menu with 4-5 dishes (can also be found on the website). Selection of salad to more hearty dishes. The mushroom risotto was ok-ish, a little too much sauce / brew, little mushrooms. Service was a bit rude and flippant, probably because the restaurant was well filled. Still a pity. But nice ambience (decor, light, etc.) and fair price-performance ratio.

Interesting place. Good technical quality. Ultra confortable sofas fir watching movies while you enjoy your wine.

Strong program cinema with special films in a very nice location with the most comfortable cinema seats of the city. Also the restaurant is worth an independent visit - in the package culturally as culinary 5 stars

Delicious cinema with cozy seats. Bar had a bit of a rush because tickets were sold at the same time and it was only occupied with two people ... of it all looked ok. Have fun!

11:30 am Sunday, movie start ... seven people are waiting in front of the locked door. No one comes, which is an absurdity. We drove 50 km for free on this day. By telephone, nobody was reachable, thus zero stars and definitely not recommended: - (((

Lovely cozy place with good food

Tasty vegan burger. Nice outdoor space if you are lucky enough to get a table. Convenient eating /drinking option if looking for a cinema night out in west end.

Delicious food in the restaurant, everything is freshly prepared. Small menu with fine dishes. The service is friendly and also with a well-filled eatery fast and with overview on the way. The wine list also offers attractive at reasonable prices. The cinema is also worth a visit, the hall has comfortable seats, the atmosphere is right, drinks from the restaurant may be taken to the cinema. I can recommend a visit without hesitation.

Beautiful, homely cinema. One of my favourite places in Frankfurt.

Cozy art-house movie theater with the latest selection of award-winning movies, which you can enjoy watching comfy seated on broad, puffy seats. The location has an original, modern and though cozy design, which is not usually encountered in Frankfurt. Orfeo's is not only a movie theather but also a well served bar and an excellent restaurant, with changing seasonal menu of tasteful dishes all prepared with fresh ingredients and great mastery. The wine menu also offers a refined selection. The service is also very kind, thoughtful and discrete. Absolutely recommended for a dinner with friends or a romantic tête-à-tête.

Nice cinema with a good program

Good movies. Good food. Just good!

Really nice cinema/restaurant (or the other way around). I always have a great time when I visit this place. The food is good, staff is friendly and the restaurant is cozy. Of course the selection of movies/activities is great as well (music documentary series I can see music for example). The only con would be the busy it gets when people queueing and people coming out of the cinema room mix together around the entrance door, but it's part of its charm. Check those airplane seats at the back of the Kinosaal!!

The friendly team makes a great program, a mix of interesting current productions and individually selected films from all genres, countries and times, occasionally with guests, almost always without advertising. There is also a very nice bar / restaurant area, where you can spend before and after the cinema. The only, unfortunately heavy-weighing criticism is the annoying squeak of the cinema seats, it spreads unrest and disturbs the movie experience.

I love Orfeos Erben - great venue and super selection of movies. Just need a better ticketing system - getting a seat is comparable to running the bulls...

Great Christmas party in a fantastic atmosphere, good food and funny movies. Visit is definitely worth it.

The location is nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We've had a special event that day and enjoyed the cinema and food as well as good drinks.

The restaurant is not worth the cost. Not recommended solely for a dining experience.

It used to be a great place for lunch. We go there often but recently the quality of their meals has dropped significantly.

Awesome SMALL cinema. It has a great restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food before the movie and bring your drinks in for the movie. The seats are the most comfortable!!! An advice: book in advance (same day but 2-3 hours before the movie) and also reserve a table together with your tickets booking if you'd like to eat before the showtime.

My personal favorite mix for festival style cinema (with vintage airplane seats and you can take in your drinks) plus very nice bar and dinner place for before or after movies

Fantastic small cinema hall with comfortable airplane seats. We bought some stuff to munch on and drink and watched the movie as if in the living room.
